孙晓云,女,汉族,中共党员,1955年8月出生于江苏南京,享受国务院特殊津贴。一级美术师。中央美术学院和苏州大学博士生导师。现任中国书法家协会第八届主席、江苏省文联副主席、省书协主席。

曾任中国书法家协会副主席。现任中国书法家协会第八届主席、江苏省文联副主席、省书协主席。2021年1月,当选中国书法家协会第八届主席。中共十七、十八、十九大代表,中国文联第九、十届委员,中国文联职业道德建设委员会副主任,江苏省政府参事,江苏省美术馆名誉馆长,中国书协女书法家委员会主任,中国国家画院书法篆刻院副院长,南京大学中国书法研究院院长。
先后荣获中共中央国务院“全国先进工作者”(全国劳模),中组部、中宣部、人事部、科技部“全国杰出专业技术人才”、全国书法最高奖“兰亭奖艺术奖”、“全国德艺双馨文艺工作者”、“全国文化系统先进工作者”、全国首批宣传文化系统“四个一批”人才、江苏省委省政府“紫金文化奖章”、“江苏省有突出贡献中青年专家”等奖励和荣誉称号。
书法作品曾七次获全国书法大奖。由华艺出版社、台湾未来书城出版社(繁体字版)、知识出版社、江苏凤凰出版传媒集团、日本中央公论美术出版社(日文版)先后出版理论专著《书法有法》,十五年畅销不衰,先后二十次再版,创全国书法理论书籍销售量最高纪录。并作为唯一书法理论书籍进入国家“农家书屋工程”。先后获“韬奋图书奖”、“江苏省政府优秀图书提名奖”

Xiaoyun, female, Han Chinese, a member of the Communist Party of China,
was born in August 1955 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. She enjoys the
State Council Special Allowance and is a First-Class Art Master. As a
doctoral supervisor at both the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Soochow
University, she currently serves as the 8th Chairperson of the China
Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairperson of Jiangsu Provincial
Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Chairman of Jiangsu
Provincial Calligraphers Association. Born in Nanjing in August 1955,
she began learning calligraphy and painting from her family at age
three. She spent five years in rural areas during the "sent-down youth"
program and eight years in military service. Sun previously served as
Vice Chairperson of the China Calligraphers Association. In January
2021, she was elected as the 8th Chairperson of the China Calligraphers
Association. She has been a delegate to the 17th, 18th, and 19th
National Congresses of the Communist Party of China, a member of the 9th
and 10th National Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Deputy
Director of the Professional Ethics Committee of the Federation, a
consultant to Jiangsu Provincial Government, Honorary Director of
Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum, Chairperson of the Women Calligraphers
Committee of the China Calligraphers Association, Vice President of the
Calligraphy and Seal Carving Institute of the National Academy of
Painting, and Dean of the Chinese Calligraphy Research Institute at
Nanjing University. She has received numerous honors including the
"National Advanced Worker" (National Model Worker) awarded by the CPC
Central Committee and State Council, "National Outstanding Professional
Talent" recognized by the Organization Department of the CPC Central
Committee, Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Ministry
of Personnel, and Ministry of Science and Technology, the highest
calligraphy award "Lanting Art Award", "National Virtue and Artistry
Outstanding Artist", "National Cultural System Advanced Worker", one of
the first "Four Batches" talents in the national propaganda and cultural
system, the "Purple Gold Cultural Medal" from Jiangsu Provincial
Government, and "Outstanding Young Expert in Jiangsu". Her calligraphy
works have won seven national awards. The theoretical monograph
"Calligraphy Has Methods" has been published successively by Huayi
Publishing House, Taiwan’s Future Book City Press (traditional Chinese
edition), Knowledge Publishing House, Jiangsu Phoenix Publishing &
Media Group, and Japan’s Chuo Koron Bunko Shoseki (Japanese edition).
Having maintained enduring popularity for fifteen years, it has
undergone twenty reprints, setting the highest sales record among
calligraphy theory books nationwide. As the sole calligraphy theory book
included in China’s National Rural Reading Room Project, it has
received prestigious awards such as the "Taofen Book Award" and the
"Jiangsu Provincial Government Outstanding Book Nomination Award"
